The principal academic body responsible for maintaining the standards of instruction, examination, and research within the institution.
Role & Functions
The Academic Council is entrusted with the authority to oversee and regulate all academic affairs of the institute. It ensures that the academic standards are consistently high and aligned with industry requirements and global best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Approving new academic programs and the syllabi for all courses.
- Monitoring academic performance and implementing quality assurance measures.
- Recommending academic policies, regulations, and matters of student discipline.
- Promoting research and innovation across all departments.
Council Members
Chair: The Principal, PIIT Paud
Members: Heads of Departments (HODs), senior faculty members, and a panel of external academic experts from reputed institutions and industries.
